DENMARK

 Our team in Esbjerg are looking for an Electrician to maintain, modify, repair and mobilise equipment, tools and control/ communication systems. 

Job Description

  • Electrical/ automation and mechanical maintenance, modification, fault finding and repair of equipment and control systems according to maintenance programme, industry standards and customer requirements. 
  • Mobilise by preparation, set-up, and packing of equipment the control systems for work. 
  • Incoming inspection including required cleaning, general receiving control, and control of equipment for correct operation. This is applicable for equipment returning from work, from repair or coming new from supplier .
  • Testing of equipment, tools, control/ communication systems and electronic components (per maintenance program including component(s) and as a system). 
  • Contribute to work preparation as required (ordering of parts, planning of work or sequence of work).
  • Shop reporting of performed work and faults found according to requirements. 
  • Experience-based updating of work orders and equipment documentation involving hours used, material requirements and result of work. 
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workspace. 
  • Careful and proper use of company provided resources (hand tools, materials, equipment, etc). 
  • Responsible for own and colleagues HSE and follow applicable HSE regulations.  
  • Risk evaluation of work. 
  • Reporting of non-conformances and risk observations. 
  • Perform duties as required by Base Supervisor. 

The Applicant

  • Certificate of Apprenticeship or equivalent within electrical or automatician trades/ technical College/ Bachelor. 
  • Experience from maintenance and service of electrical or electronic equipment,  panels and Control / Communications systems.    
  • Experience form computer networks and communication between electronic components. 
  • Mechanical experience is an advantage but not mandatory. 
  • High standard of workmanship. 
  • Knowledge of trade specific work standards (onshore/ offshore). 
  • Risk awareness and HSE consciousness. 
  • Experience of computer-based maintenance and reporting systems. 
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Collaboration skills. 
  • Experience of office computer systems.
  • Knowledgeable in Danish and English (Spoken and Written).

Candidates must be located in Esbjerg or surrounding area.
